Hidden Valley Resort is located 1.1 km east of the Deerhurst Resort on the same road.
OBOA shuttle will be provided between Deerhurst Resort & Hidden Valley Resort.

Reservations
Reservations will be made by individual attendees directly with the hotel. Delegates must identify themselves as attending the Ontario Building Officials Association event to ensure they receive the preferred guestroom rate.
Delegates should retain their confirmation number, which will be provided by the reservation agent and use this number when referring to their booking.
Reservations can be made directly by calling HV Hidden Valley Resort at (705) 789-2301, toll free at 1-800-465-4171, by fax at (705) 789- 6586.
All reservations must be secured by a major credit card or by the organization. Upon arrival at HV Hidden Valley Resort the cost of the attendees full stay total is required. If the reservation is cancelled 5 days or less, before arrival date or the stay shortened the full value of the original reservations will be charged.

Further to the MMAH announcement at the 52nd AMTS in Kingston, Ontario, re-qualification will be held off until the next building code revision expected in 2011, OBOA has obtained further clarification on the examination schedule.
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing sought the input of building practitioners as part of the process of updating the examinations. In the Spring of 2008, peer-based panels met and provided the Ministry with advice on adjusting the examination syllabi to address the new Code’s objective-based structure and technical changes. Building practitioners had the opportunity to provide further input when the draft syllabi were posted on the Building Code website for industry review in Fall 2008.
